(yes, I know about the winch cable!)

Wow, they are gigantic.

The look of that in the rear-view mirror of a sedan must be SUPER intimidating!

That is assuming it is not at night and all the lights are on. If so, you wouldn't be able to see anything........

Tech....what light switch did you hook this lights up with? Is there a picture of the finished install inside the cab?

I purchased the wire harness with it and it came with an old fashioned metal toggle switch. I kind of like that.

When I need to, I just 'Flip the Switch' to blind the other people! :grinpimp:

I have it all wired up but have not mounted the switch yet. So when I do, I will post pics!

Here are some more completed install pics.

I forgot to take a pic of the switch. I will do that when I go back outside:

Please remember that these are daytime pics. I will do nighttime pics tonight.

Here is a pic of where I placed the switch. Notice the small hole in a blank plate that I THOUGHT the switch would fit into, but obviously it didn't fit.

Here is a questions I have for all.

What is he correct height that I should measure and set the angles at?

Anyone know? Do I just measure the height on the center light image of the headlights and use that?

Dude, that front shot in the beginning just looks FARKING hot!

Mitch: Any plan to move the lightforce 240s back? I'm going to drill another hole and move them back a few inches. There is plenty of room behind them between the grill and I hate how far they stick out in front....they will be the first thing to get hit when I hit a rock or a tree! That's what the bumper is for!!!

Nah.....the last thing I want is another place that can get rust through the bumper.

The lightforce lights are virtually impossible to break or crack. Haven't you seen the shotgun video??

I figure once that becomes an issue, I will consider moving them :)

Mine are in the front hole. I was looking at moving them back just yesterday (funny that this came up now?), and When I looked closer, the bottom front edge sits below the top of the bumper...the only way they could be moved back is if they stick up a bit, or you space them from the bumper.

I like them sitting forward a bit. I'm pretty sure they will be fine.

I have 2 washer under them currently. the only way I can get them low enough to point correctly for me.

Yes, I'm going to have to do the same. The mounts should have been longer, or they should have provided a longer arm as an extra, or a spacer of some sort....

I am thinking of buying a set of LF Strykers. Is the metal toggle switch the only option provided when you buy the wiring harness?

Made my own wiring harness for much less than a purchased one. I ended up using a lit switch, and made it fit into one of the holes already provided. You can easily attach any switch you like to any wiring harness you get.

I loved my 240's on the 80...
