Hello,

I am looking to purchase a set of HID conversion adapters (shown below) for a set of Lightforce 240s that I have. I have yet to find someone in the US that sells these adapters, all the ones I've found are in Australia and do not have shipping options to the US. If anyone has a set they'd like to sell or know where I can buy some I would greatly appreciate it!

I ordered my Blitz 240 HID adapter kit with ballast & ignitirs from the LightForce US vendor in Idaho back in 2010 or 2011. The bulb adapters were blue back then though.
Did you check with them?

I have not, I assumed most LightForce dealers wouldn't sell something to modify their lights. But I'm open to asking anyone I can to try to find some. Do you happen to know the name? I just tried using LightForce's website dealer locator and it doesn't seem to be working.

I tried contacting the guy who did the DIY on the Lightforce HID adapters and HID conversions. BUSHY 555's HID-IS-CLEVER-NOW HID site. website to see if he knows of anyone that sells them. The kit you linked is for the Genesis lights therefore I'm not sure it would work with the Blitz lights.

Well great! I didn't catch that before, thank you.

I really would like to do my own "kit" so I would prefer to just purchase the adapters and then use them with a Morimoto Elite HID kit. They're regarded as some of the best on the market and they also have a 3 year warranty. However if I can't find just the adapter I'll go with the option you posted.

Got ya. That being said, the LightForce ballasts warm up alot quicker than the 35W Morimoto ballasts. If that helps in your decision.

Thanks, good to know! That is definitely a concern. I actually plan on running their 50W kit if I go that route, but needless to say I think Morimoto is a safe bet regardless of wattage.

Yes, LightForce has a kit specifically designed by them to modify you Blitz to HID. See pic of the product above
They are rare nowadays and tbh, super over priced. They almost cost the same as the lights. They're like 150$ each for what i've seen. I was just asking in case someone put in the time to machine or 3d print a base for an LED or HID bulb. But I guess the original one is the only option.

I just googled LightForce hid kit and a bunch of stuff on the topic showed up
