I read somewhere online that one can lift an LC by gettiing the vehicle up on a lift and then carefully turning a few strategic bolts -(cannot seem to find it right now) - and you'd get a slightly lifted LC w/o a lift kit or aftermarket shocks. Sounds stupid, I know --- any truth to this?

TIA.

should've gotten an LX!! LX can swing 3" of lift with the press of a button.

Can't help you other than recommending you search for "KDSS Lean"

One of two things,

1) AHC, which is exclusive to the LX in the 200-series, can be lifted with via sensor height adjusters
2) 100-series LC utilizes torsion bars. The front axles can be lifted by just turning a couple bolts. The 100-series also has AHC on all LX and some LCs, which can be sensor lifted as well.

Thanks -- I just found the article I had been looking for. The author "lifted" his LC with bigger tires and adjusting the torison bars. Guess the latter is out for 200 series.

The only thing i can think of lifting ‘without’ a lift kit is using a coil strut spacer. Basically same existing strut and coil springs at the front, take the assembly out put a steel or aluminum spacer on top and button things back again and instant lift/leveller in front. But just nuts and bolts and turn them is not possible for a non-ahc 200 series.

OP is thinking about the torsion bar adjustment on a 100 series.
