I installed my 2.5" lift this weekend, upper and lower control arms. Had Toyota alignment on Monday. Rides and drives like a completely different vehicle, feels so good. Its so solid and firm now, it makes me realize how worn and sloppy the original stuff was. My wife even said its like a different car. Cat back magnaflow exhaust installed today at a local shop for $375. Cooper ATP 275-70-18's 2 weeks ago. Why are there no pics yet?? Because my wife picked it up from the muffler shop today and took it to work. She told me she would let me know how the new muffler sounds. What the hell????

So how hard were the upper control arms to install. I'm about to pull the trigger on the OME 2.5" medium, Slee diff drop, and upper control arms. About as in early next year.

A man that I count as one of my good friends was the Professor of Photography at NAU until he retired recently. Flagstaff is a great town. I really enjoyed my visit there last year

Uppers were the easiest thing to install. I put them on upside down twice though, Im an idiot. They are simple. I marked the adjusters and put them in the same place when I bolted the new ones on. I tightened the ball joints in the center of the slot, as specified on the instructions. It drove exactly the same as before on my first test drive. I thought it would be off really bad but it wasn't. I thought about skipping the alignment but I didn't and it is better. Just support the lower control arm so it doesn't put stress on the brake lines when you pop the upper ball joint loose. I did the lowers too because I got a new ball joint and 1 new bushing, the other bushing is in the frame so I skipped that, it looked ok. Lower Moog arms on Amazon were about $260 for both. Moog was always the best replacement parts when I was in my old Chevy days so I thought I would trust them on the LC.

A couple pictures. The 2.5" OME was the best purchase for the LC that I could possibly have made. Im trying to locate a detail shop that can power wash the underneath side of the car so I can undercoat and repaint some things.

Looks great.

Forgot to re-install the splashguard under the engine... : )

Want to know what I don't like about the lift? It's not on my LC :D

Nice!!

Now that is what a LC is supposed to look like! Looks really awesome.

Guess these mods will be on my to do list next year.

So you've got yourself a nice looking rig, why the heck are thinking of selling it on your other post???
You will never get out of a customized vehicle what you put into it.
