-- it just stopped, and switch in driver and passenger door won't budge it --

-- is there some intelligent way to go about trouble-shooting this?

-- glad it didnt' break "open" ---

THANKS!

Determine where there is and isn't power. At the switch, at the motor, etc.

Once I rolled down the window (not on the 80) at the carwash, inserted $7 for the grandaddy wash, as I started pulling forward the window stopped half way up. Always good if they break in the up position.

yup -- figgered since neither switch works, it's at the motor --

-- would like to switch out all 4 motors for newbies, quite honestly --

:D

E -

After you have a look at the price on a new window motor, you will sing a very different tune. I just had to replace one on a Corolla. Very $$$.

BTW, there is a good troubleshooting guide in FSM to pinpoint window motor problems if you cannot figure it out with the first few obvious steps.

Good luck with it!

Cheers, R -

ooohhh cool, R -- just got a 91 FSM --- will give it a look some weekend --

THANKS!

I wouldn't mind switching out the front two either. Bet C-Dan will tell us they're spendy.

Eric - I just had this happen on my 92" the roller on the motor popped out of the window track because the track slid, i had to pull the door panel and hook up power to the motor and slide the track back over, Brad.
