Lexus vs Toyota OEM windshield?

Anyone knows if the windshield for LX570 and the Land Cruiser for 2008-2015 model years is interchangeable?

56101-6A946 is the Lexus part number
56101-6A943 is the Toyota part number

Strangely enough the Lexus part appears to be orderable from Toyota dealers.

I believe both have acoustic glass (additional layer sandwiched). AI says the Lexus glass is little thicker, but AI lies all the time.

Anyone has an idea?

I am thinking about being a guinea pig here. If the windshield is thicker I want it... probably academic difference.

Not pre-2016 (which this part is for).

IIRC LX and LC have different color shaded strip along the top, which would easily explain a part number difference even if they’re dimensionally identical.

There's more going on that integrates with the front windshield including de-icer, intermittent wiper/rain sensor, radar/pre-collision. I'm pretty sure all years of LX got acoustic glass, unsure of the early versus late gen LCs. Here's some research I did on part number awhile ago, but this probably is a useful thread.

It'd be interesting for an early gen LC owner with factory glass to take a picture of the marking on their windshield.

Would be good to figure out for sure and this was a hack on the 100-series.

As I understand it, they do not share part numbers as Lexus glass is very clearly branded as Lexus (that in itself does not necessarily imply acoustic). There should be some markings on it to tell. I don't believe I've seen any reference to acoustic glass on LCs, but definitely could be wrong, or the LC got it in later years?

Regarding part numbers, which still doesn't clarify anything other than it's more complex than meets the eye. Maybe pictures of the marking on the glass could help?

Depending on the source, e.g. partsouq 56101-6A946 appeas to be substitution for 56101-6A943? Toyota systems show both.

Lexus systems only show 56101-6A946.

Digging more they are probably the same. Found references for them of being laminated, green, and 5.36mm thick. Same stuff.

Did “acoustic” difference apply to windshield as well? I know the front door windows are different.. laminated on LX vs tempered on LC.
