Hi every one!
I few weeks ago replaced the OEM stereo on my Lexus LX450 1997. The new stereo is not compatible with the OEM 6 CD changer that came with OEM stereo. So I decided to remove CD changer. After removing CD changer there is now a big blank hole where CD changer was sitting before. Is there any cover to shut this hole in the middle console. So it won't look so ugly?
Thanks!

I put an inverter there.

I might be able to design a plug that would fit in that hole. Since I have an LX450 I could use mine to pull dimensions. Could someone take a pic of what the hole looks like? I see cruiserparts sells the entire rear piece, which would work, but a less expensive small insert might also get the job done and look clean.

I used a scrap piece of aluminum. The power port is offset as I was thinking I would add more later.

Which model? And do you have a pic? I was thinking that the cd changer spot would be ideal for a new inverter

I'm not even sure, I think it may be an old Audiovox, I got it free and needed to get it in quick before our trip. It will most likely be replaced with a better one but worked great for the need at the time. I just trimmed it out with some plastic. It's attached to a piece of wood to raise it up. I need to make it more permanent and do a cleaner install when I'm able to get a new one. It's definitely a great place for it.

I fully realize this is an old thread. But this link doesn’t pull anything up and I am looking for a similar piece to “plug this hole” can anyone assist?
Just for you my friend, I went out and took a picture of the part. Look at the Part number in one of the picture and order it online.

Your awesome! I dont see a part number on the “blank” part. That’s the one I’m after. The one that deletes the CD player or whatever
You have to order completely new trim without the cd hole. On Lexus and Toyota website it will say with or W/O CD. Order the one that says W/O CD.

Sorry bud for late reply. As mentioned in the post, the part number is written clearly on the back of the part. As shown in the picture, but to make it easy for you, here is the part number 58932-60010. Most likely it's discontinued but when I bought it few years ago. I bought the one that showed like this on Lexus website W/O 58932-60010. W/O means without CD hole. The blank part can't be separated from the trim. It's not sold separately. You have to get completely new trim that should say W/O next to the part number. Anyway I sold my 80 series a month ago and bought a 2006 100 series.

I am trying to access the center console cd unit to swap with a new oem unit. Any links or tips to access the unit? Thank you
