Lexus center cap on lc200 rims?

Hi there, I recently installed 2013 LC200 rims on my 2001 LX470 to make it look similar to the newer 470’s (2006). Unfortunately, front center caps won’t fit because of the wheel hub. As I’ve noticed, the ones from the 2006 LX are embossed.

Do you think the center caps from the 2006 LX470 will fit on the ones that came from the 2013 LC200?

Did you mean both toyota and lexus center caps will fit? I tried the ones that came from my stock 16” but they didn’t fit. They wont lock.

If any of your caps are chrome they are aftermarket caps not OE.

Try and remove the metal clip in back of aftermarket cap and see if it allows to snap in.

I see, I thought these were OEM

The wheels are OEM the finish is not. There for dealerships use aftermarket chrome center caps. So the fit is not a good.

Have you tried removing the metal retaining ring in back of center cap?

No not yet, unfortunately I am out of town and will be back Monday. I will try them as soon as possible and will let you know. Thanks a lot! I hope it fits!

@thetransporter I installed the 6mm spacers and along with flattening the front hub grease cap, I can confirm that the center cap now fits perfectly on the 2013 200 wheel.

Like you I also tried fitting the stock LX470 caps as well as 200 series 17” center caps. They will not fit due to the spoke design of the 2013 wheel that goes all the way to the center cap area.
