I swear I have searched for answers to this question!

What’s your options to level/lift a GX 460 with adjustable suspension and rear airbags?

Vehicle I’m looking at is a 2017 luxury with 30K miles so I’d love to keep these factory options for another 4 years or so and then probably rip it all out and go with something more aggressive.

Goal: raise front 1” and rear .5” with the current air bags?

Car is for wife and looking for a touch more clearance/better stance.

Thanks!

I have been told it is mostly impossible, but someone on GXOR has been using the airbagman stuff for ~3 years now and said they love it. I think they were able to get ~ 2 inches of lift this way. Search for airbagman and it should come up.

Not sure what the reason for the air bag lift is for. Is it for compensating for a heavy trailer or heavy load? Or maybe to level out the ride?
Please take note, if you are considering using a air bag lift for raising the suspension for larger tires and for "real world" off roading, that is NOT the way to go.
The primary reason is one will not get the articulation with an air bag lift compared to a proper suspension lift with springs and shocks.
With an air bag lift, one will still have the stock shocks which will not allow enough travel for compression and extension compared to off road shocks. The idea when off roading is to always have ALL FOUR wheels on the ground. One should try not to ever have only three wheels only for traction. Four is best.

I guess my goal is a quick and easy 1” in the front via spacer.

Then I’d like another half inch to inch in rear without sacrificing the air suspension.

Pretty sure the GX 470 boys are tricking the rear for a slight lift—is this possible on the 460?

Full suspension replacement will be in 4 years or so after wife daily duties.

With all due respect, why not save the money and just do it all at once, albeit maybe a couple years down the line.

That's what I've done on previous expo vehicles I've built. Do it once and call it done. Albeit, it has taken many years on some of them to complete. I was fortunate to get my GX up and built within several months time. My fasted build to date!
