I'm looking for some photos of custom-built motor and body mounts.

On my build-up, I'm having to fab up some new body and motor mounts, and need some ideas.

Did some of you use the original ones, and just modify 'em a little?

I'm running a stock 3FE and H55 in my build, but I'm having to move 'em....so I figured a custom setup may be a good option. I'm also using a custom frame and an Aqualu body....so I have a blank slate to work with.

I'm just looking for ideas, what materials did you use....that kinda thing!

Here is my TC mount and some body mounts.. I did use originals but made my own with the right size tubing mild steel...3/16" thickness.. I think...

I love the grease zerk idea, that's one I'm gonna run with too. Just a smart idea on the motor and tranny mounts.

I see that some have a plate that is then welded to the side of the frame...better surface area to spread the engine weight.

The body mounts look slick! Especially with the use of the round tube, stock-ish look. Really sharp! What did you bend the steel with for the frame mounts, or was that C-channel to start?
