I also had the Sherpa half rack on my ‘98 4Runner. Chose it specifically because I only wanted a half rack. But when it comes to their 100 Series rack, I’m wondering, why is it so much more expensive than options like ProSpeed or Prinsu? What design features justify the $500 premium?Has anyone tried a Sherpa rack? I have one on my '98 4Runner, and I like it quite a bit.
Also, this vehicle being taller (and me not being taller), is getting at things on the rack doable or onerous?

Gotcha. Yeah I think victory 4x4's updated rack also has those areas to grab onto (and it is 900-1000 USD range) , might be worth looking at? Don't know where you are located but there was a victory rack in the classifieds for around 700 bucks. When I looked at the Prinsu, it didn't have the hand hold holes that the Sherpa has.
