After a visit from @Dagha Boy - I have to ask....
Are the Aussie market starter handle storage clips held to the body with cross head metric screws , or rivets ???

Sarge

Hi Sarge

The starter handle clips are fixed with small cross head metric screws - there are weld nuts attached to the underside of the wheel tub to accept them.

The jack extension rod brackets are fixed with 10mm hex heads, again, with weld nuts fixed to the tub underside.

Confusion came from Dagha Boy's set of riveted clips - they were off a 45 model that had them riveted to a plate to hold the jack . All other markets the clips were held into the body with small cross head JIS screws . Still working on the clips when I have time , may send part of the set I have from Dagha to a lab and get it's process analyzed to determine what alloy of steel they are . I have a press die made to make the shape , but no alloy found yet will handle the smaller radius bend at the bottom .
