Leftover garlic mashed, crisped in a little bacon fat with leftover Cajun sausage, and scramble on the side.

Some of you guys are already getting cold weather.
We are almost there, and I'm planning on a good potato n rib eye soup,
and a smoked/grilled chicken tortilla soup.
And some more Chili Colorado, with fresh hot buttered tortillas.

Oh sh1t, I just realized that I'm making a Wish List.

I wanna know what's in potato and rib eye soup (apart from the obvious)

Russet potatoes, leeks, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, bacon grease, bacon, and leftover steak.
Season to taste. My youngest likes to top off his bowl with cheese.
You can get creative and serve it in a bread bowl.
It is kinda a take from a standard leek n potato soup recipe that is all over the inter web.

The wife cranked out some killer Chili Colorado last night.
I had a bowl of it with a hot buttered flour tortilla. WOW

Well, we did a potato soup last night. No rib eye so I doubled up on the bacon and mushrooms.
Topped it off in the bowl with some cheese and thyme.

Well, because of the weather, the wife wants to make beef stew tonight. :bounce:
So I ran to the store for a few small things, and some artisan olive loaf bread.
It should be good.

OK, here is where you can really impress us all.
Mud Chefs, What do you do or create with your turkey day leftovers?????
Throw Down Challenge.

We didn't do turkey this year. But last it year left overs became turkey pot pie. Of course the old standby of using left over turkey meat in anything Mexican rules too.

Its that time again! Yep, smoked pork shoulder Chile Verde. Fresh roasted poblanos, New Mexican greens and all the usual suspects including espresso. Gotta have it, don't cha know!

Well, got some leftover carnitas. Gonna try my hand at Chile Verde.
But with all this rain we are getting, I'ma haf to roast the veg in the oven.
Normally I grill/smoke all the veg.

Well, turkey has been consumed. Now come the leftovers,
Soup, samwitches, and ??????????????

I remember seeing somewhere a person took leftover stuffing and gloped it into a waffle iron
to use as bread for a turdkey samwitch. Nice out of da box thinking.

Got to get out of the house and go get fresh dried chilies. The wife is gonna make some Chili Colorado
today, and we will all sit around and trim the tree this evening.
