I am interested in this upgrade, but not sure they will fit. I already have Hella H4 housings, looks pretty much like the photo you have above. But I don't have much room behind, the battery is right behind the pass side and the airbox is right behind the driver's side, neither of which can be moved. Can you give me the dimension from the back of the reflector to the end of the bulb?

Also, does the rubber "dust boot" (the gray thing sitting on the counter behind the lamp in your photo) that seals the H4 bulb stay removed with the LED bulb installed?

The H4 bulbs fit in my 91' perfectly. Below is a picture of all of the dimensions you might need. For the rubber dust boot what I generally do is trim out the center into a circle shape that way it fits snug against the bulb. I run them this way in both my Toyota and my Jeep and havent had any problems with leaking.

What year is the truck? Standard procedure is to try the headlights without the harness. If they work properly you do not need the harness. If you notice any flickering or "Pulsing" that is when you need the harness. If you need the harness let us know and we will get you one sent out free of charge.

Bought the H1s and unfortunately don't see any way to install them in my 2006 LX470. The housing might fit although the plastic cover would no longer fit over the bulb to keep moisture out and the wiring harness doesn't have the right connector

This is Steve @ Southeast Overland. I believe Jeff here worked with xswl and he spliced on a different connector but xswl will have to confirm.

I appreciate the help Jeff provided. Got the bulbs to fit, but power connector was not plug-n-play with my 2006 LX. Should be easy to replace the connector on the LED drivers with blades, but waiting on the parts. Will provide update once I have it installed.

They look similar, but I cannot verify who makes them or what factory they are rolling out of in China. We find in the LED industry that there can be two identical products that look exactly alike, but they can be completely different on the inside. Some times we see the same exact product coming from multiple different factories. Different buyers demand different qualities of items, so I cannot vouch for what is above.

The biggest plus about going with the Lifetimes is the warranty, If your lights develop a problem (That you did not cause) let us know. We will then get replacement parts in the mail free of charge.

The other nice thing is that you know where to find us and we are not going anywhere!

They are smaller to better fit motorcycles and don't require a fan. 1200 lumens low and 1800 lumens high beam. The LED driver is included and it is a three wire hook up - black, blue and white.

Interesting setup. I wonder how it will fit into the different MFG. light housings. Do you know off hand what what type they plug into?

They use what I believe is a standard "bullet" style connector. So it should be pretty easy to make an adapter harness if your motorcycle uses a different style connector. They only have 3 wires, one 12 volt for highbeams, one 12 volt for lowbeams and a ground.

Found a set of LED lights on Toyota cars in Nigeria on jiji.ng. Good kit, the price is not expensive. Plan how to get, immediately put it on your car. I think the best staff will be set uniquely. And the battery life will be longer. So I advise everyone to switch to LED lights. Save the vision of other drivers.
