Technically you can make your own map light. He still sells the driver (CC1W) and the LED's you just need to make your own mount and solder the LED's. CC1W CC1W

Edit: Ok, got the kids working, cutting and stripping the teflon wire for connecting the LEDs to the driver board...

Due to the crazy last minute rush, I will need to order more LEDs to satisfy all the orders.

I will be shipping out about 30 domes today, 10 more tomorrow and then the rest on Friday/Saturday when I've received the LEDs I'll order today and have built the remaining modules.

I will respond (or have already) to all the orders. Just trying to keep up with the last minute procrastinators now

This evening, California time (Monday 17 Nov 2008), will be the cutoff for ordering domes and after that I won't be making more. Some folk are sending cheques and that's ok, you have ordered before this evening.

Hey George - Since you're getting out of the business, is there any possiblility of posting the schematics and parts list for those of us who might have a try at rolling our own. Or is it not that simple?

In any case, you got my order yesterday for 2 - one for the cargo area dome I expect to put in, and one spare!
