Hi there. Do you have any interior shots of the rear quarter panel/back side panel areas of your LX with the panels removed? I want to know what's behind the plastic panels so I can plan to mount my air compressor somewhere back there. Thanks.

I never removed the passenger side, but here’s the driver side. I’m putting a glass pack muffler where the resonator is now so I can put a three gallon air tank where the muffler currently resides. I can’t imagine any air tank fitting behind those trim panels, but post up a pic if you figure something out will ya?

Edit: I see now you said compressor, not tank. If you need a pic of the backside of the panel let me know. I haven’t put it back in place yet because it has been too hot to do anything outside until basically today. Thank God summer is over.

LX seats are more comfortable than my brother's GX seats for me. However, the most comfortable seats my butt has ever grazed were from my 2013 LS460, it's like sitting bare ass on a cloud.

The wide, well-padded front seats accommodate a range of body types. Height-adjustable individual inboard armrests are a welcome touch. Power driver’s seat adjustments come on any Ridgeline with leather. Like other contemporary Honda products, bottom cushion tilt and height adjustments are limited, forcing you to sit higher than wanted. We also wish the power lumbar adjusted for height; it adjusts only for pressure. In this category, there are no other pickup trucks that score nearly as well as the Ridgeline, hence no other listed good options.
Worst: Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma

Sometimes for back issues, it isn’t about just the seat itself. A good contoured seat definitely helps, but there are other factors that come into play.
My back prefers a seat bottom that is higher off of the floor than most cars. In fact, the newer Tacoma’s and 4Runners are to “low” for me.
Also, if your leg is twisted at the hip while driving, that can aggravate the back issue. Our Subaru had this odd foot position where the gas pedal was and inch or two to the right from where your heel would rest. Causing my leg to twist at the hip. Doesn’t sound like much but after 2+ hours of driving, it was a noticeable discomfort.
With that being said, my 2005 LC seats are by far the best for my back on long trips. My wife is looking for a replacement for the Subaru and we won’t be buying anything without a 2 hour test drive.

Interesting but my 100 puts my right leg in pain almost right away with the gas pedal so close to the seat while my left leg can stretch out easily,my whole body leans from this as you describe.

Over the weekend I removed the dead pedal on the left to get even more room there but that just seemed to make the acute angle the pedal forces my right leg into even worse.
Add to this that the seats will not go back far enough to stretch out for some unknowable reason and I can just not get comfortable in my 100.

On the other hand my Sister has a GX 470 and it is much worse than that for me.

I did the LSeat perforated then keep a simple towel like cover that fits over the headrest and rolls up into the door pocket for the often times I am wet / dusty from active stuff .. love it

My Lx470 seat was torn up and just trashed when I bought the vehicle. Missing all the foam on the common left leg support area. Just last week I had it completely rebuilt, new foam and brand new leather. It is a 100% brand new seat built exactly as I asked them to (extra extra padding on the driver armrest.) I had both front seats done for $240 each and they are very comfortable. My point is that you should choose whichever vehicle suits your needs best, then adapt the seat if necessary to your exact specifications. The guy that did the upholstery spray painted them with a good quality automotive interior paint. I don’t remember the brand.

The LX seats are extremely comfortable for Long trips, of which I am doing now and often do. But any seat is more comfortable than a GX knowing you have the barn door behind you. NEVAA
