Just got back from the shop after noticing a strong gas smell and watching fuel drip from onto the rear driver's side trailing arm of my 2000LC. I thought it was the fuel filler but the shop says the steel fuel lines are rusted out. Brake lines failed from rust about 6 months ago so I guess it's not surprising. They quoted me about 1100 to fix it, saying they needed to drop the tank to get to them. Does this seem reasonable?
