Just went through a carwash. Afterwards, water was coming out of the grab handles on each A-Pillar, especially the drivers side. The sunroof drains appear clean. Any ideas?

any changes to your roof rack situation recently? Have a windshield replaced? Drill your Apillar for a snorkel bracket?

No recent changes. I bough this 2014 LX with about 48,0000 miles on. Service records say windshield had been replaced at dealer by PO. It has a Lexus brand windshield.
It’s the quality of the installation that matters for leaks. If you’re sure the drains are clean, I’d suspect corrosion and leakage from the replaced windshield.

Even if you think the drains are clean, you should blow them out with a good blast of air and then test to make sure you see water draining at all locations.

Be very careful putting pressurized air into the sunroof drains. You may pop the hose off the nipple on the sunroof tray.
I prefer to use weed eater line then carefully flush with some water.
But, those drains can only flow so much even when they are totally clear. If the sunroof panel gasket has shrunken a lot pressurized water can overcome the drain’s ability to keep up. I’d make sure your panel is closing flush, and look for gaps front or rear to indicate it has moved in its mounts or something.

Yeah, I should have clarified. You can safely use a can of duster, but probably not a high-pressure source like a compressor.

And you shouldn't need more than canned air to clear any debris.

Thanks, I will try again tomorrow.
Both my a pillars leaked after windshield replacement. It was because lazy installer reused the trim clips which created a gap for debris to get in which wouldn’t allow water to drain.

Is there an easy solution for this^^^?
Replace all of the trim clips to make sure nothing gets down in the windshield gutter

Anybody have a picture of these^^^?
There is a picture in a roof wiring thread running around. They’re like 1/2 by 2” white plastic. If you decide to take the aluminum side trim off it can be done with a little hook tool. Go slowly and carefully, otherwise it gets bent and has to be replaced
