LCs sliders group buy

Hey Jackson,


Here are the pictures you asked for. I don't have easy access to measuring plates, sorry.

I will say that I see no way to mount it using the existing holes in the frame. All my plates look like they were made to be used like U-bolts. I don't know, but it seems to have worked for me.


The first two are the outer attachment and the third is from the inside. Let me know if you have any questions. Lord knows I do.

Thanks Ross for the pics. It looks like the mouting plate is for '95-'97 LC. Jim, please correct me if I am wrong.

If so one of you guys might want to mention it in the main "whats up with Solid Rock Off-Road" thread in the vendor section...from the looks of it over there it still seems as though everyone is waiting for sliders from this group buy.

they come out ok?

They look great. Welds are nice, real stout product, appears to be well crafted. While I was at the shop I cleaned them up, hit a couple of sharp spots on the expanded metal (no big deal) with the metabo, and then wiped them down for paint. Afterwards, when I got home and in my garage, I got a coat of auto primer on them, cleaned that up, and then applied a coat of black Hammer-rite. I'll get the second coat on them tonight or tomorrow and then bolt them on on late Friday or early Saturday. I'll post pictures of the finished product and once the install is complete, but so far they are outstanding.

Don't worry amigo, I won't leave Jim hanging. I fully intend on posting up there, after the install is complete. I will even include pictures. As I have said all along, I liked the SROR products before and that is why I jumped in on this group buy. It was when communication broke down, that the problems started. I respect the fact that Jim carried through on his end and delivered a very fine product.
