Does anyone know the overall height of the LC250 with the roof rack? My garage entry has a max clearance of 81." Thanks in advance!

Simple, get a garage door stretcher...
They are called high lift or extended radias tracks.

Most people only measure to the point at which the door hangs into the door opening, this is not the limiting factor, it is the height of the garage door frame itself. I've presented several solutions to work within your constraints that allow the garage door to be raised up to clear the garage door frame opening.Once again, none of these solutions change the size of the garage door opening, which is more likely to be a limiting factor than what style of opener you have. I would imagine this is the origin of the question at hand.
I wouldn't know since my door clears the entry and does not reduce the size of the opening. I've never lived in a home with a door that hangs below the top of the entry -- that sounds like crap design. Most people only measure to the point at which the door hangs into the door opening, this is not the limiting factor, it is the height of the garage door frame itself. Not enough, reframe the garage door to a larger opening, buy a new house, buy a shorter vehicle, there are ALWAYS solutions.
It's standard in six homes I've owned in California and Texas.I wouldn't know since my door clears the entry and does not reduce the size of the opening. I've never lived in a home with a door that hangs below the top of the entry -- that sounds like crap design.
I guess we're smarter in New England. We have basements too. It's standard in six homes I've owned in California and Texas.
With the Toyota spec of 76.1" w/o the rack, is the rack less than 2" tall?A guy on FB has one and has been answering questions. 78" with roof rack. this is a first ed.
I would agree with that. He did say it wasn't level ground where he measured. With the Toyota spec of 76.1" w/o the rack, is the rack less than 2" tall?
Edit: I took some rough measurements off the images on the Toyota web site. Which could be renders, so take with a grain of salt. Assuming Toyota's height spec of 76.1" w/o rack, it looks like the Land Cruiser trim roof rails are just under 3" tall, and the basket on the First Edition is about 4" tall. That would put the two options at roughly 79" and 80" tall.
I'm curious if they included the little shark fin antenna in the 76.1" measurement. If that's the case the number might be right. I hope it is, my garage is 82.5".With the Toyota spec of 76.1" w/o the rack, is the rack less than 2" tall?

I doubt they did, but I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong. But it also would not surprise me if the spec number underestimates suspension sag and tire deformation.I'm curious if they included the little shark fin antenna in the 76.1" measurement. Tight fit.
