I've been enjoying my 4.6 v8 petrol LC200 for a while. It's great fun but on massive dunes, it starts losing power. With the ECT PWR on, it toucher about 5,500 rpms or so and after that it essentially cuts out. It's still better than without the ECT PWR ( cuts off at 4k rpm). Any solution to increasing the rev limit. From what I've seen, people have done some chipping of the ECU. Is that a safe and reliable way to hit higher revs? Will it also give a performance boost, if so at what percentage? What brands are good and meant for the LC200?
