LC200 Third row tether anchors

Hello folks,

I am trying to find out about the third row tether anchors, if the exist and where are they. I read this article:

and in there, it says that "The second row has three tether anchors. The outboard seats' tether anchors are midway down the seatbacks, and the middle seat's tether anchor is nearly at the bottom of the setback. In the third row, two tether anchors are located in the cargo area's floor under the floormat."

For the second row there is not issue as I could find the tethers on the back of the seats. However, for the third row, there is nothing in the back cargo area that looks like them. There are those semi-rounded rings that one could use to hang the net in the back cargo area, but I do not think those are for children car seat tethering. I went to a dealership and looked at one LC200 and at another LX570, but nothing...I cannot find these "tether anchors are located in the cargo area's floor under the floormat".

Could any one help please? A picture would be great !!!

The later 100 series had the tether anchors on the floor as you described. I'll look at my 2013, but a quick review of the owner's manual shows no indication of LATCH points on the 3rd row (see http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM60G36U/pdf/sec_01-07.pdf ) starting around page 132.

Does the LC100 have tether anchors in the back floor for the third seats? Are you sure about that? What I know, and it is in the manual too, is that the tether anchors for the second row seats are in the back cargo area, kind of right in front of the third seats if you were to have them down in seating position.

Yes, I did look in the manual, and there is no explanation nor an image of the tethers for the third row seats.

I no longer have my 100, but I seem to recall, in my feeble mind , seeing them there when I was pulling out carpet to fix a minor water leak.

I'll look in the 200 this evening ...

Checked my 200 this evening and found no tether or latch points for the third row.

Yep, that is what I thought. I think that article I link to in the first post is wrong and misleading.
