LC200: Rear Seat Issue not folding back (1 Viewer)

Hi there

Been enjoying my 2011 LC 200 smoothly.

Today while folding back one of the rear searts to put daughter car seat, one of th seat is not folding back.

It is releasing from the bottom latch but somthing is stuck not allowing release.

I checked beneath with a flashlight but could not find anytbing abnormal.

Any help appreciated.

Is the top already folded down and you're trying to fold the entire seat up?

If so, latch the top reclining portion like you're going to sit in it then try to fold it up in one more motion, fold down and fold up.

If not, not sure what the issue is.

Yes top is folded down and i am trying to fold entire seat up.

Trie above did not work.

Any help appreciate need this sear folded back.

Typicically it's released from the floor at the same time the backrest folds forward and you pull the lever.

Have you tried returning the back rest to its seating position...then pulling the lever again...holding the lever as the back folds forward and lifting...all in one motion? If not, try that.

One possibility is your straps (that clumsily hold the seats up against the front seats) came loose (from their clumsily-designed holding spot) and screwed up the release... ?? Grasping at straws on that last one...

The seat is telasing but not going back ( tilting)

It aeems to have moved foreard and Getting jammed on the inner body panel

Can you take a quick video? I'm thinking we're all confused as to the issue.
