I discover two days ago that when I press this button the seat no longer going back up to the side anymore. How do I troubleshoot this issue?

Have you tried assisting it with your hand while holding the button?
I think part of the function of the button is that it releases the latch then pulls the seat to the side. The latch is not even release so I can't assist it.

Anyone know how I would about testing if the fuse if fried in the fuse box? I have never looked in the fuse box so I'm not sure how I'm even going to test if which fuse is responsible for the rear seat. I do have access to the Toyota FSM.

In general fuses are designed so that when they blow it is visibly obvious.

In general. Sometimes you’ll need to get a multimeter out and test for continuity.. but once you’ve found the fuse pulling it and giving a visual inspection is extremely quick.

If you have access to a multimeter, you’ll just put it on the continuity setting (usually an arrow pointing to a plus sign) and test across the two blade terminals on the fuse you pulled.

I do have a multimeter. Is there a diagram of the fuse box in the FSM or user manual? Thank you for the help.

Yes, the FSM has an exhaustive list of the fuses and circuits involved in the Electrical Wiring Diagram section. I don't recall how many of the fuse blocks are in the owner's manual.. but all or just one wouldn't surprise me.

Thank you so much for all the help thus far. Before I start digging into the fuse box and testing with my multimeter, does this look like the correct fuse to start with?

In another page it list 10A MPX-B NO.2 for this same function as well. When I clicked on the link, shown in the screen capture above, it showed this diagram which I have no clue what it means.

The rectangles at the top with the tildes are fuses and what's written next to them is the fuse label and amp reading. the IG/ACC/BATT note indicates whether they should get power constantly, on accessory, or only on ignition.

My concern is there's a note in the first image about "from sep 2015 production".. if you have a 14 LX (as in your sig) that isn't for your vehicle.

I"m not sure but this is the one I picked.

And on this site, it shows this one for 2014 LX 570.

And also on the 2014 Lexus LX 570 manual it has similar to the site above. However, I'm not sure if "seat adjustment" is the same as "...Folding-Up Function". I guess one thing for sure is to test it out. I just want to narrow it down so I don't have to test a whole bunch of unrelated fuses.

On your first image you are highlighting a year range that doesn’t include yours. Start and end are the production ranges for the included vehicles. Your 2014 won’t be in a document that starts in 9/2015. where it says “start 07/08, end current” that’s your range. Click the “TIS” link all the way to the right.

That’ll open another page with the FSMs for various years. Just under the year selections you’ll see “electrical wiring diagram” and when you click that it’ll expand down to another year model selection, hit yours.

This is all from memory, but I’m pretty sure it’ll get you better documentation.

Ok, I'm a bit confused how this FSM work. I thought "Start 2007/08, End Current" means from the year of 2007 or 2008 to the current. That is why I thought "Start 2008/2015, End Current" means it covers my 2014 which is in between those years.

Anyway, for the "Start 2007/08, End Current" the TIS link has no data. When I clicked on the “electrical wiring diagram” and every links under this shows a:

So I used the PDF version and this is what found:

(Very important edit: I just noticed only the fist line is for US market 200s anyway)

I’m not helping the confusion with my syntax. I cut off the 2007.. that 2007/08 actually means August 2007. So 09/2015 is September of 15.. which pretty much means 2016 model year or later, which obviously will have differences.

On top of that I’ve always found TIS to be easier to use than GSIC, but if it doesn’t work for you it isn’t very useful anyway.

There are more fuses on the other side of the engine room, and yet more under the dashboard on both sides.

I’m home from work so should have a little time to do more organized digging. Will try to work on that today.

Does any function on the right side work at all? Like the seatback folding down?

If so, it's not a fuse issue. There are separate fuses for right and left, but if any functions on that side are working the fuses are good.

From looking at the EWD I'd be finding the RH fold seat control ECU and checking the wires for the floor striker limit switches, the red and blue wires in the middle bottom of this image. If they check out, looking to see if the ECU is sending power to the floor release motor wire next to those.

All of that said, in the FSM section of your documents there is a step-by-step process to test and troubleshoot the seat folding system. I'd suggest checking that out. The "problem symptoms table" is a great place to start.

Ah, so I know what those Start date and End means now.

On the right there's no issue at all besides that particular folding problem. To measure if the ECU is sending power, I have to pop the cover open and measuring the volt on those wires, correct?

I would strongly advise you follow the troubleshooting process in the FSM. Every step it suggests has an info link to another part where it says how to perform each subsequent step.

So, through all that and it turned out to be just a battery issue (I think). The reason I initially thought it was not a battery issue was because I was able to fold and unfold the other seat but just not the right side only. However, since the vehicle has not been driven for about a week or two in the cold. I tried to start the vehicle and it wouldn't start. After I jumpstart the vehicle and took it for a spin the problem seat starts working again. I'm able to fold the seat back up again. I guess it's something to note about.
