Over the weekend I removed the passenger (right) side seat in the second row (the smaller lighter seat). My National Luna dual 50l frig fits perfectly length wise. I am now looking at ways to secure it. Obviously I can use straps with the cross bars the seat latched to but I would like to have a platform.
I am curious as to what others might have built for their rigs. A friend built a platform from wood for his frig which was in their van. I could do similar but would l like to be able protect the exposed area from where the seat was attached. That would require a cantilever piece to be attached. With metal that could just be a bend.
Thoughts ? pictures of what others have done?
