We wanted to share the install of Radflo Shocks and Total Chaos UCA's for the 100 Series cruisers. This truck is running the TJM torsion bars up front and the TJM HD coil springs in the rear. That is approximately 2" of lift. The ride quality is much better as the valving of the shocks is more correct. Going with a 2.5" shocks with a remote is really a night and day difference to the 2" twin tube shock.

I see rubbing issues in your future....

No really, How do you not get any tire rub on the remote in that location? I know of others that have installed in the same area. But, on my rig there was no way I could put my remote in that location without the tire rubbing it. The only way I got away from my tire rubbing on my remote was to go with spacers. Are you running those?

I was thinking the exact same thing. When i go with my new duratracs, i have a feeling i will be rubbing. Perhaps he just drives straight. j/k. My resi's are vertical and pushed as far upward as possible to not get any rub. This is with the stock tires.

One more thing... why does your inner cv boot look like that?

Now that i look more closely at it, it looks like the boot is inside out.

It’s a temporary indentation of the stock boot, must have got pushed in when they installed the shock. Very easy to fix, by just manipulating the boot with your hand back in to shape. Go squeeze your CV boot and you can do the something.

Let us know how the alignment goes, it seems there can be an issue with the TC UCA

This rig is not running the stock wheels, the wheels are by Fuel. So far no rubbing. I will post pics of the rig soon.

You are correct, the boot returned to normal shape. As of alignment, it has set up correctly and no tracking problems. I am not sure of the problems others may have had, but this particular rig is currently aligned correctly.

Can you share the alignment numbers? I am one of those with alignment and rubbing issues. Also, what size tire? That could have an affect too.

Which fuel rims? What specs are you running? I like fuel rims a lot.

I just got an alignment on my setup (see sig) and I'm aligned up fine. I have stock 18's and tires on. What problems are people having?

I started a thread a couple of days ago on the alignment issues. I may start another to gather info on what people are getting number wise and issue wise. Shoot me a PM if you want a full run down on my and others known issues. I dont want to load up this thread with other info except on this build.
