LC100, FJ80, and now FJ55 Cargo Drawer Frames

I had wings on mine but removed them and used them for reinforcing the corners with 45's. To support the wings I used threaded rod bent in a loop but after the fact I realized I could have done with just the ends and maybe one near the fender as the looped rod gets in the way of storing items.

I used 3/4" Birch as it was strong and the cheapest @ $40 a sheet. The drawers were dato'd on the bottom and rabibited on the ends. I used 3/4" oak and datoed them into the sides about 1/4", this allowed the remainder to sit inside the slides.

Nice work on the kits. If shipping something that large was not such a PITA out for Durango I would have done that years ago.
