Has anyone installed LX front seats into an LC? Is the wiring harness plug and play?
I have FSM 2001 LC shown below. Can someone please supply FSM of 2001 LX? My concern is the memory module, but possibly that is just a separate harness plug, or maybe it is even present under the LC carpet taped to the harness...

How about a power seat control system FSM snap shot of any LX...?

From a 1999 LX:

It is my understanding that the difference is that the LC is wired direct, but the LX runs through an ECU.

Excellent, thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for.

dumb guy question here.... do LX seats work in a LC?

I have an 06' LC and iI want to replace or reupholster my front seats but I may have a lead on LX seats for less....

LX and 100 seats are similar per the year range
I've got 100 seats in a 99 LX, the seats are from a 98. they work fine.
there was a change in the connectors somewhere thru the years, or so I was told,
the mounts are the same
there is a stiching difference between the LX and 100 in the leather

LX seats have the memory function module mounted under the drivers side seat. I will take pictures of the electrical plug(s) of a 2001 seat.

2001 LX drivers seat, with memory module and plug.
Who has picture of underside of LC seat with plug....

OK, so I did the swap from LC to LX seats today. The passenger side is a direct swap plug and play. The drivers side is also plug and play, sort of... Everything functions except for the height adjustment. Very strange. I ended up swapping the seat wiring harness and everything plugged in and functioned.
the LX drivers seat all the functions go through the Seat position control module mounted under the seat. The wiring harness as well is quite a bit smaller Gauge wire on the LX at the seat switch compared to the LC, telling me that the LC is 'direct drive' vs the LX is controlled by relays in the control module. I did not spend any time investigating what is missing in the LC wiring harness to control the height adjustment. Both the LC and LX use the same seat switch, but as mentioned the wiring gauge is twice the size on the LC compared to the LX. I am thinking it is another wire to go to the steering column telescopic sensor to trigger the module, but I did not even look at the FSM wiring diagrams as I was not really interested in the memory option. Memory option should be possible to retrofit to LC with some research on the wiring diagrams.
Anyhow, it can be done, just takes an extra half hour to swap the drivers side wiring harness, everything plugs in. There are some limit sensors on the LX harness and on each motor but I just left them disconnected.

It was time, with 535,000KM on the clock...

Goodness, where did you find seats that clean?

Out of a cream puff super low kilometer unit.

Clean indeed but they don’t look original LX leather to me. (Center sections…Smooth vs wrinkled leather)

The wrinkles are there, I just finished steaming them and conditioning them, they will loosen up. Doubtful the leather was replaced at 43,000 Miles, but maybe early in life she spilt her Martini and required replacement...

Ah, that would explain it.
