Dan,

Saw the War Pig....young kid... says he loves it.

me

sold it to a good friend of mine's son.

yeah i guess you would be pretty stoked to own a kick ass rig at 18.

used to watch him when he was around seven or so,

mature kid got love for him.

Well driving through my parents subdivision I ran across this. It is a real nice 1976 fj. I met Tim Flynn nad jokingly asked if it is for sale and got a laugh and he said I just bought it yesterday. Super nice guy and a very nice fj. I told tim about the club and he said he would be interested in coming out to club stuff and some rides. I also told him that the guys in club are all here to lend advise and a hand if needed. Congrats Tim:cheers:

That truck came from Jackson, MS. We looked at it and passed. Very solid truck. I wish the previous owner had preped it better before he painted it. When you look at it you will know what I am talking about. It has a trick A/C system out of some commercial truck that sits in the back.

Later,

sold it to a good friend of mine's son.

I talked to Ray the other day. Says his son is in heaven. He also told me the funny story about how he gets his 62 into 4wd.

I work with the guy who owns this rig. I told him about the club and about mud....and not to be surprised if he finds club cards on his windshield.

Spotted a gray 60 on Nicholson Drive in Baton Rouge this Saturday. Was parked at an apartment complex across from the LSU track.

not local but there is going to be a 60 in the new season of terminator!!! i saw it on the extended previews of the new season after the episode last night.

Who owns the white 80 with the snorkel, roof rack and jack mounted on it? Been seeing it around town.
I've seen it too haven't caught up with him yet. :)

Saw a new dune coon 40 this a.m. older gentleman early 70's model and wasn't Jimmy. Original with the steel wheels but no hubcaps. :) Also saw they had the top off of Joe Spells yellow 40 its at a mechanic shop behind the shell station on pinhook.

I saw the white 80 at Kinkos the other day, I was thinkingit was Mike.

I was at the coumadin clinic last monday, it's in the Bheil?? building that's attached to Lafayette General via a raised walkway. There was a nice stock dune 40 in a doctor's spot, no name. It's the same one I've seen at the gas station at Julien and Johnston by my house/Lourdes. It has some sort of bicycling sticker on the back window.

That one we know... doc at LGMC. That rig was a taxi I believe and started its new life w/ a tree, having to be cut down, as it growing through the bed in a field IIRC.

That's Jimmy Bienvenu

Nice catch Albert. It looks like Jimmy's, there is another I've seen just like it minus the hubcaps and Jimmy wasn't driving it. I've seen it on South College on the dribe in. I'll chase him down one of these days. I wanna catch up with that white 80 around town as well. :)

I've been trying to catch up to this 80 owner for sometime, well I finally caught up to the rig. I spied it down the hill when dropping off some bags at the recycling center. Looks to be working on the rear diff was leaking oil. I think he'd fit right in and it looks like he uses it. It does have a MS tag on it. I drove around trying to find the owner but several workers didn't know who it was for. I left a card in a bag hopefully it weathered the rain and we'll hear from him .

He needs a safty class one on one !!!

Another attempt at a new recruit while talking on the phone with Theriot. Went something like this hey man gotta go bad ass FJ here. I roll down the window to ask them to pull over to give them a card and there is this good looking gal looking eye to eye like "What are you looking at"

So no card, but keep an eye out for her or the rig and slip a card on it. You won't miss it fresh new lift with some 35's looks great. :)

this guy goes to my bads business... i think he backed into a tree because the back hatch is all dented in
