Spotted a green FJ40 yesterday afternoon - looked stock, in Baton Rouge. I was headed down Choctaw Dr.

Not local, but my eagle eye caught it: I was showing a video to my class about the history of terrorism. In one part, they talked about the Sandanistas in Nicaragua targeting a federal building. There was a white or tan 40 driving through the parking lot. I prayed that it wasn't carrying explosives but the scene changed before anything happened.

I'd love to, but not sure if I'll be off. I'm an ER intern, and my life will stay pretty hectic til July or August.

I saw that red 40 with the soft top again today (Sunday) in the Coyote Blues parking lot. I stuck a card on the steering wheel. I also saw a red 60 or 62 parked at the gas station at the intersection of Johnston and West/East? Broussard Road, across from the McDonald's. I didn't have a chance to investigate, but it might belong to someone who works at that station.
Also, Thad lives just down the street from me and his green 40 was parked on the road today. Melissa and I were driving down the road so I thought I would test her, and said, "Hey that's a nice Jeep, huh?" She looked at me funny and said, "That's a Landcruiser" She is learning fast!

hook-em in Brian I think the 40 is for John the cigar merchant. I'll have to look for the 60/62 next time I'm that way. Sounds like Melissa fits right in

I've seen that red 60 the past few weeks in the parking lot by Graham Central Station. I'm always running to or from Lafayette High with track and never got a chance to leave a note. Clean looking rig. One afternoon I'll take a few minutes to drop a note.
Saw a very cool black FJ40 with a hardtop going down Perkins, turning down Bluebonnet here in B.R. I think he has a V8 in it. I jumped out and gave him an old club card. I wrote "check out ih8mud.com look for buyou state land cruiser assc" on the back

i hear ya. i bought a cheap air horn from harbor freight to try and help that, but the little cheap plastic horns made it sound just as sissy (although louder)
