I like green too as long as it is light green

I am a guy, and only recognize a limited amount of names for colors, so please enlighten me on the difference between Beige/Sand and Light Brown.
To me, those would all be describing the same color.

got to get all technical but to me the light brown is like coffee with cream...not chocolate but not color of your walls at home either.

beige/sand would be like TT edition of FJ Cruiser or the old FJ40s. Light brown is darker than sand....which is closer to .....oh screw it...you will see. LOL

Anything but white. Just keep them inexpensive. No reason shirts should cost more than $10 for a good quality shirt. If they are (and you are ordering 40+ shirts) you are at the wrong printer.

depends on work involved in printing, quality of shirts and whether you are selling them to raise money or to just cover cost of shirts....... I have done this a few times. :D

True, Haynes Beefy or similar Gildan and I usually get my artwork for free b/c I know people. :) Maybe I just get flustered b/c of the cost of club shirts vs what I know we pay at work for them (usually in the 5-$8 range.) SOrry to get on my rant, just a little flustered at times. :D

i got connections too...brother owns a large silk screen company....but he has a business to run so cant expect him to let his artists work for free....his screen setup guys work for free....his printers work for free.... LOL

I told him that I am going for best deal with the best shirts.....and since I am not making the decision there is no problem with anyone thinking I am playing favorites.

What you know we pay for shirts is about 50% of what actually goes on behind the scenes with them. Last shirts cost us around $8 dollars each. We bought 54. What you don't understand is that the TTT got three for free, ACC got three for free, you and David got one each for free and then there are some left over that we will give out through the year at events and other events to help maintain our presence. So in actuality we made little to none off the shirts.

I will say in the past Cafe Press was expensive. But if your looking at buying one of those shirts for it's material value then your missing the boat. They were easy for members to buy, and members wanted something that they could remember the event with.

It takes money to run a club. Not a lot but some. And all of that money 100% is given back to the members in food, banners, stickers, camping fees, legal fees, free shirts, camping supplies, first aid kit, etc...

LC is a growing club. We need to raise money to help them grow. In fact I'm sending some OMT shirts down to be given out at this weeks event along with a few UC shirts and hats.

I think $15 for a shirt is a great value. Especially all the memories that will come with it.

I know I know. I am just cheap when it comes to clothes I havent paid more than $10 for a t-shirt in years. I'll get off of my soap box, thats why I had a few :) in the post. And I didnt get a shirt for free. The guy who designed it (as a personal favor) got one so the club could get the shirts even cheaper. Feel free to hit me up in PM if I am off or something UC is great it just gets expensive trying to do things, esp when you figure in gas, etc.
Perfect Example is the LCC boil. Will end up being close to $200 for one weekend for us.

Try over a thousand bucks for GSMTR.... I wouldn't have missed it though...And I'll be there next year, no matter the cost!!

Wait a minute I think your not taking into consideration the stuff you took home. :D

Come on you bought a set of tires and won an all expense paid week at Tellico.

i'll agree, that helped alot. Still had the out of pocket, though.

By the way, those tires are HUGE:D:D
time to cut the fenders :wrench::wrench:

GregFrench,

I still have not received the artwork from last weeks contact with you. I sent a couple PMs but want to make sure you know I have not yet received it in mail....and to find out when it was sent so we can trace it if needed. Please PM or email myself or DBENKE so we can get the tshirt search started....unless you are going to handle it up in Myrtle Beach yourself. Thanks.

marshall and david...you both have emails with estimates from 3 printing companies for shirts so we can get them done ASAP.....please respond tonight so I can place official order tomorrow if possible.
