Yea, I know.....late notice

Ana an I are leaving early am xmas day (she celebrates xmas eve) for picacho state recreation area (Picacho SRA - https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=641). Plan is to stay a few days at 4S Beach Campground, if available (right on the Colorado river, 4 S Beach Campground, Picacho, CA: - https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/california/picacho-1/4-s-beach-campground), otherwise stay in main campground. Weather should be nice (day 69+/night 40s), water will be cold (50 f).

We then head out on mellow indian-pass-road ( https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/indian-pass-road-drive) to SR 34 (possible run up telecommunications mountain in vicinity), then take Subaru friendly Bradshaw trail (The Bradshaw Trail - California Offroad Trail - https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/104-the-bradshaw-trail) to salton sea (overnight somewhere on trail).

Then head home. That's the plan at least.

If interested, respond to thread.

that's not my story, and I'm not sticking to it:beer:

Thanks for the invitation! I already have plans for the week, so I’ll miss what sounds like a fun trip. Best wishes!
