Bed is semi-stock (floor, cross members, mounts, rear panel) except for sides and tailgate. Truck is a Canadian 80 'gasser originally out of BC. Am going to go back to stock bed using (amazing) panels from AwlTEQ. Option 1: chop the sides off of this one and use new bed sides from AwlTEQ (and some parts from a very ratty bed that is lying around). Option 2: sell this nice bed to someone that can use it and get more panels from AwlTEQ.

Option 1 is probably easier for me, but so as to avoid chopping it up if someone wants the existing bed I would sell it for Cdn$2,500. Feel free to reply with any interest, or send me an email. Am away until the 11th so might not be fast replying.

I've seen this bed in person and it is very sturdy. Basically a PO fixed the typical rust along the floor line by having these sides made out of 12 ga and grafted to the stock bed. It has a spray in linex type liner. Very strong. As Lv says the rest of the bed is stock 1980 and will bolt right on.

Kurt its not that far really. 1450 km (900 miles). Straight up I-15/ Hwy 2 and you're here :D. Piece of cake ( pack a lumch) :steer:

Google Earth says 13 hours 37 mins. one way.
 
Keep me and Kevin in the loop if you are really serious.
I am heading up north to pick up one of Kevin's beds and I might be able to bring this bed back as well - at least then it would be in Denver :)
 
New Price

Given the price for a full OEM bed from AwlTEQ, I think a more appropriate price for this one would be $1,500.

I'm just meeting 71FJ40 in Billings - its half way between Calgary and Denver.

Unfortunately not right now, the timing just isn't right for me (building a new garage out behind my place) and I'm really holding out for a complete bed from you :D
