Wanted Late model 100-series LC (or LX)

Went to check that one out ^ this weekend, local "dealer" that is notorious for buying auction cars from the northeast that are covered in rust. I knew that going in but still had to go look. Looked like they had just finished painting the undercarriage black, was wet and smelled like paint. Still could easily see the intense rust they were attempting to cover up. Other than that the car was definitely more worn than the pics reveal. Hate to sound so negative but figured I'd post up to maybe save someone the time screwing around with those guys. Same thing happened to me there 6 mo ago, they posted up a beautiful Tundra that I was excited about, ran out there only to discover it was completely eaten up with frame rust. Lame.

^^This exactly. I researched 3 of their cars over the past couple of months and all 3 were rust buckets from the Northeast. Stay away!
 
Good to know, always nice to get some local knowledge, I randomly came across it on my Craigslist search. Hate that I put it out there in hindsight
