I've searched but seems most everyone has 16 or 18" rims. Can anyone tell me the largest size tire I can fit to a 2004 stock 100-series (Japanese spec) with 17" rims? Thanks

Can anybody tell me. I have a 99 Toyota LC. It has the stock 16 tires. I belive currently they are 270/70/16. I want to run 285/75/16. Would I have to regear to run that. Also will it have added wear on anything.(I am getting a lift kit installed)
You'll be fine, a tad slower on acceleration but a good look. No need even for a lift. Check my pics, same size tires.
You're good. The size you're mentioning isn't big enough to worry. In fact, it may look kind of small. I run 285/65/18 without a lift and feel they are small.
