Heavy Duty Rear Lower Control Arms are designed for the 80 series, fabricated from solid bar to help eliminate bend arms, with over-sized ends to help protect frame mounts from damage, extended length to ensure proper rear axle travel. Both configurations, EXTENDED or STOCK length, available with or without OEM Toyota bushings.

Available configurations:

I received a PM about the construction of my arms in referencing the use of solid rod.

It has been posted before that solid rod is weaker than using tubing.

That simply is not the case. Attached is a PDF file outlaying the calculations for determining strength.

In this application CASE2 is relevant where both the rod and tubing are the same overall diameter.

I have absolutely beat the snot out of my LT Lower control arms over the past two years.

Anyone questioning the strength of these things is out of their mind.

Thery were designed around a 4" lift. But will work with lifts from 3" to 6" to keep the u-joint angles where they should be. For lower lifts we also have stock length LCAs also. Same strength and enlarged ends as the extended one.
