I wish they could do this to 200 series landcruisers, or better yet bring the troopy landcruisers stateside which ive seen many Australians do this kind of tent that’s part of the vehicle. I like this better you can sleep inside the comfort and safety of your vehicle.

Anything is possible. I'm sure you could find a fabricator/outfitter that could do that for you. Bring lots of cash.

@KLF haha that’s true, I’ve never seen a 200 with the roof chopped off for an ursa minor tent but yea, anything is possible if you have unlimited money.

Feel like the only issue you'd have would be airbags and airbags wires to keep the 200 happy?

Google Campteq and Maltec. Neither is doing business in the US any more, but they both offered some very cool conversions like Ursa Minor does for Jeep. I begged Campteq to do a conversion to my 100 many years ago, but the owner was exiting the business back then to travel. Due to the high quality aluminum construction and intense labor requirements, I don’t think there was much margin for him. It would be amazing to have a reliable outfitter offer this on the 200 here in the US, but I doubt it will happen for myriad reasons (low volume, margins, product liability, warranty, safety tech, etc.).

I doubt there is that much comfort ...

good point there @afgman786, good to know thanks for that info @mcgaskins, I hope someone steps up to the plate. @TheIcemanCometh the comfort in my opinion comes from sleeping inside your vehicle not outside, from a safety perspective that's great I can just go downstairs in an emergency start the vehicle and drive off assuming the tent can be closed from inside which would be awesome.
