Today is Landcruiser and Hilux field day @ Toyota Collection Cologne (Germany).
Probably more vintage Toyota 4x4 in the parking lot than in the collection itself...
The Landcruiser group NRW attends.
Enjoy.
Cheers Ralf

Das ist ja toll, thank you for sharing Raplh and greetings from Greece!

PS. Sad that I left Germany two weeks ago...

Neat to see the land cruiser cult phenomenon in other nations as well. Some interesting looking specimens in there, even a megacruiser!

Thanks for sharing! There is an overlander expo coming to my neck of the woods next month that I am looking to attend. I am just concerned it's going to be a blingfest with rich people that like connecting all this gear to their vehicles that they don't know what it is for or how to use it, then go to the shopping mall 3km from home.

It probably won't be that bad, maybe I need an attitude check, lol

There should be at least 2 Land Cruisers there as @JDMBC was the one that told me about it and he is planning to go.

Ya. Sometimes it is that way.
We have the 4x4 Rhein Waal as an offroad fair in spring. The last two years I didn't enjoy it that much any more. All the trucks on display had 6digits price tags. Lots of bling being. More of a RV than a 4x4 fair.
Rigs said to be capable to do the PanAmericana straight away. But who can afford those? Obviously somebody. But, on the other hand, except for some cheap MaxTrax replica, there was almost nothing interesting for 4x4. I was looking for a synthetic winch rope or a kinetic rope and some soft shackles. Nothing like that on this 4x4 fair.
The usual 4x4 enthusiasts gathering in the camp ground drowned in the rain and ankle deep mud, unfortunately.

No, this event today was much nicer. Cool people, cool rigs. 😎
Cheers Ralf

I'll be at overland expo with the 200. My 75 is down hard right now. Would love to meet up.

I think we may be talking 2 different expo's, this one being only 20 mins from me. Pretty small one, I am thinking. However, if you are coming to the one up here, then absolutely, I love meeting other like minded, down to earth folks!

Cologne, Germany, Toyota Allee 2.

Felde, thank you for sharing your photos. Have not seen you yesterday. Best regards!

Most country that I want to visit
Where is the location of the Toyota Collection Cologne
Here is the website with all cars on display. It apparently has no Englisch website.
Its open every first Saturday of a month. Free entrance.
It hosts special events occasionally. Here is list of upcoming events.

If a Mud member happens to be around Cologne or Duesseldorf are: Give me a ping. Several Cruiserheads are close by.
Cheers Ralf

Thank you and I appreciate your help

Lot of great LCs with bullbars in the parking lot. Those are legal as long as they were installed prior to importation?

It is not about imortation but about the time those bumpers were installed.
All accessories must be registered in the vehicle's document. If they were legal and had been registered back a day, you are allowed to keep them, even if the legislation changed and rendered similars illegal later. That legal change applies for new installations then only. (Continuation permit).
Cheers Ralf
