Hi from Australia,
Have been a member of TLCA for some time (#19039) and have noticed a growing interest in 70 Series Landcruisers. We have a bunch here in Australia, usually no or little rust, mainly long distance kms, and huge resources of spare parts. 2010 marks the point where Aussie 1985 model 70 Series are available to come to the States. :clap:I am in the process of setting up a new business (Global RV Imports) to look at exporting 70 series from here to North America. I will be visiting between Jan 22 and Feb 15, based in California. Anyone interested in looking at getting a 70 series from Aussie? Would be RHD though. Is there much interest in USA/Canada? Best email for me is globalrvaus@bigpond.com Cheers for now, Norman Ashley, Canberra, AUSTRALIA

you might want to check the importer section...
the imports into Canada are a dieing fad. you are about 10 years too late for here.
there is also West Coast Cruisers, Vintage and a few others already on the band wagon in the States.

best of luck

Wayne

Good luck finding 85 troopy's or utes with no rust, troopy's are the worst, you say usually no or little rust, the rust free ones are actually a rarety, start sending over rust buckets and you won't be in business very long.

x2 The cab chassis and the MWB are probably the best of them but after 25 years most of them are looking pretty sad

In the name of the Mighty 70 Series Land Cruisers, my dream truck, please do not import old and tired 70 Series into the States, in fact how about we just PUSH Toyota USA to bring those freshly-built 70 series directly into the States.

That's the way to go. Let's "8itch-slap" those heeps silly with 70 series cruisers

heep...yeah right.
