Land Cruiser vs LX470 - same exterior dimensions?

So when I see an LX470 and an LC the LC LOOKS wider. I THINK this is because of the details of the grille/lights etc. I THINK they must be just about the same width. (I like the narrower "look")

Thoughts?

Same dims. I think the fascia is a little taller from the bottom air dam to the hood line on the LX which makes it look that way at times.

I guess adding a bull bar would negate most of that effect....
