Wanted Land Cruiser or LX in Arizona

I am looking for a Land Cruiser or LX. I am open to series 60,62,80 and 100.
I am open even to project vehicles or mechanical a$$holes if the price is right.
One thing I cant live with is rust buckets (minor rust is ok).

I really dont want anything outside of AZ and Tucson area would be even better.
Western New Mexico is do-able for the right deal.

I have had a few PMs offering high $$ built - expo rigs.....well thats not really what I am looking for. SO let me clear it up a little. I do all my own mechanical and fab work and enjoy doing it. While I can appreciate the work of some 4x4 shops, a rig that had $20-40k dropped into it dosnt really have that value to me since I can do the same mods for a 1/4 of the price.

So as far as pricing go's, if you LC is stock no mods and regular title and in nice shape. That pricing should be near KBB private party for the mileage. Most of the one's I am seeing are priced close to this. There is always some dreamer on Craig's list with a 1991 with 350000 miles beat to death for $7500 when it should be $1500 but that ok.

The pricing I have been seeing for most seems to be:

60-62 $800-3500

FJ80 $2500-4500

FZJ80 $3200-6500

100 $10000+

So I think I would like to stay in those price ranges with some flexibility on cond, mods ect....

Like I said I would take one with mechanical issues like bad transmissions and engines and even minor rust and body damage. Hell I really dont care about salvage titles but it must be priced like a salvaged vehicle.

1995 fzj 80

Just saw your post, and wanted to let you know that we are getting ready to sell our cruiser, going to a V-8 truck. We are located in Colorado, and are picking up our new truck in Phoenix around 12/16, would be willing to deliver to Phoenix if interested.
The cruiser is dark blue with gray leather interior.
The body is straight with no rust.

I have owned the cruiser for 10 yrs, it has 218K with a recent tune up and fluids changed getting ready for winter.

It has the following equipment:
Old Man Emu heavy springs all around with packers in front
285x75x16 BFG all terrains on stock wheels with 12K miles
ARB bull bar with IPF lights ( no winch)
Longfield front inner axle shafts, replaced all shafts and new birfields, went OEM on the birfields due to street driver.
Closed knuckle service less than 2K miles ago
Piaa bulbs replaced all around
Slee upgraded wiring harness for head lights
Trailer hitch

Interior has the following:
Husky liners-10yrs old
Alpine stereo with blue tooth
Replaced the driver side mirror due to wobble less than 2K ago
Brake controller

On my way to Phoenix to pick up a 97 Cruiser locked front and rear......keep your fingers crossed for me that all goes well She has some body damage but I can fix that.....hope to start a build thread soon
