I have a question.
Are the Land Cruiser Differentials/Axles made by Dana ?

Recently I read that Toyota doesn´t make its own axles,
instead Toyota buys its axles to Dana factory.

Is that true ?

Please post up the source for this.....

Is Toyota using some Dana stuff in the new Tundra???? or Spicer components.

Far as I know, Toyota axles are Toyota axles and not really found on anything else.

FYI, Venezuelans have the web page cruiserheads.com, here's a link to an fj62 with a D60 under it FJ62 Soft Ride "La Zorra" - foro.cruiserheads.com

I was surprised to see a fj62 with a d60 so I asked the owner, he said it's a requirement for Toyota to use parts made in Venezuela and the axle is one of them, I don't know if it's true but, to me, makes sense.

it's true... D60 for all 60 and 70 series made in Venezuela
