Hey guys,

did any of you switch the 78 Prado Headlights of a 1991ish model (white indicator lights) to the orange style indicator lights? Is it a hassle? Just a plug and play?

Thanks

Does your Prado have white lens or yellow lens? If so, I switched from yellow to white (with a yellow LED bulb. See icon pic) It's straight up plug and play.

Light bulbs are yellowish. Where did you get your headlight from? I want the whole plastic headlight which covers the light bulb for the indicators in orange color. Like that one:

or is it even possible to switch headlights to a new 70 series type? https://performancedrive.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/2016-Toyota-LandCruiser-70-headlights.jpg
I have not seen those in yellow (orange) anywhere. I bought a pair of white (clear) on eBay. You could change the bulb to yellow. Unless you did a nose clip swap out I don’t think you can make the newer version work.

Another option would be to put an orange/amber vinyl wrap on the lights. I have only seen clear lenses with amber bulbs.

The pair on my LJ78 is white. I have it rewired to double contact with amber bulbs. It functions as park light and indicator light.
