Time sensitive! Have the chance to purchase these genuine blue glass hydrophilic side mirrors. Will these be usable on my LHD cruiser? This is intended for the JDM Land Cruiser so I am a bit concerned about its usability. However, the same part and part number is being sold in other LHD countries like Russia. Part Number is TOYOTA 08643-60090 if that helps.

Being sold in LHD countries doesn’t guarantee it is correct for those countries. The wrong side mirror being convex and impacting your view is one potential issue.

If it was sold for the JDM market I personally would assume it is intended for RHD vehicles unless you can get further info with regard to which one is flat and which is convex.

As for actually fitting, one strategy would be to compare part numbers for the motorized assembly the mirror attaches to.. if that is the same between LHD and RHD markets it should work. I can research this later but won’t be able to for a bit.

Yes this is the part that I am most concerned about, the wrong side mirror being convex. However, apparently, it is being sold in LHD countries like Russia. I'm just not sure if it will work the same way as an LHD orientation mirror. Hopefully someone here actually has the part to tell us if it works.

Who is selling them in those markets? Port installed option? Toyota dealers? Or aftermarket importers?

Something being sold in a market isn’t a guarantee it will work. It could simply be an indicator of demand.

I haven’t seen discussion of these so far, but that doesn’t mean someone hasn’t done it. Hopefully they will see this and post.

I just checked and at least for a 2013 the RHD and LHD market vehicles use the same mirror actuator part numbers. So the mirrors themselves seem to physically mount in place.

The rest of the stuff like dimming wiring, convex, etc, is harder to check in to.

Thanks for the help! At least I know that it will bolt on.

This specific one that i’m looking at doesn’t come with dimming wiring (though there is a model as well that comes with it). Its actually the flat/convex mirrors and which side they mount on that I am concerned about because of the LHD/RHD difference.

Would have been worth the risk, but factoring in costs, shipping and all, it’s not cheap.
