OK Gundy, Troll and you other worm drowners, again I will bringing my boat up to SC for the week of the 4th. Gundy and I have fished Jocassee in the past with a guide in the spring, but I have never fished in the summer months. I'm looking for species/depth etc. I have a broad assortment of rods, reels tackle, etc. My boat also has 2 downriggers on it which I suspect I should bring. I favor light tackle, even when deep sea fishing.

Always did the fishing/skiing/wakeboard/drinking thing, but now I want to fish Jocassee, too.

Looking forward to Saturday at David's.

Looking forward to fishing Jocassee with ya'll. I like bass on a plastic worm.
Especially in hot weather.
Favorite is "pumpkinseed". Go figure! :grinpimp:
Troll knows the lake and can school ya in Troll procedures and tackle.

The WORST day fishing is better than the BEST day of anything else.

I can show you the ropes and I have the right spoons. Just make sure the rods your rods have 6lb test. Or at least a 12 ft leader that size. You will also need two stackers for your downriggers. I can show you where to fish. How slow can your boat go? I have an auto trolling plate sitting on my shelf if needed. 4 small holes and it's on.

Call me this week and we can talk. I would love to go fishing sometime.

Sounds good, Marshall. By stackers I assume you mean two clips, one above the other. Mine only have one clip 3' above the weight.

My boat can troll as slow as you need, I can always shut down one engine.

I'll give you a call one evening. Got my SC license on line this week, but it starts July 1. So it will have to be after the BBQ.
