I got a few fun items today from Kurt at cruiseroutfitters.com First a little before and after.

ARB Winch bumper.2.webp

Looking SHARP!

Looks good brian,
Hoepfully I will get to actually work on my truck here in about 3 weeks, after the fendce and the sod are in the back yard.

A scratch return??? WTF.... and more importantly who in the F**K returns a ARB for having a scratch? What store or who do you know? Maybe they have a pair of sliders for me that have an ugly weld they will sell for cheap. Or maybe a winch that has dirt on it :flipoff2: I paid $595 for mine in Dec. of 2000 and another $130 to ship it to Kansas!

Thanks all.
I dont quite know if it was a return, But there was a small scratch through the protective wraping, If I were to pay full price I would want a perfect item due to its cost. As to who it came from...A local cruiser hero and all around nice guy:D Now I need to find a good winch, I may look into a Ramsey 9500 or a 10K
Good luck on the yard Dave   and thanks
Here is what I was doing tonight:D

Why a Plasma cutter you ask? Well, I dont have a hole saw and I was kinda tied down at home, Oh and I have a plasma cutter:D
It took longer than I thought it would, I managed to drop the last bolt in the fender....I was able to feel it but managed to wedge it into a body pannel  Thank goodness for long skinny arm's

Looks nice...any info on that color combo? US spec rig? Didn't know the 94's came in two tone...

I'm finally ordering an ARB today. Yanked the stock bumper off last night on a tree stump.

Its a respray, Not a very good one at that

On second thought about using the Plasma cutter, I should have just cut a circle out instead I did a bunch of small holes around and then cut between the holes. Now I know.

Chris, Good luck on the purchase, I dont know where you are located but Kurt at www.cruiseroutfitters.com has always been good to us.

Mot, Hope to see you soon as well, How is the family and the ring doing?

Have fun!

Brian,

The fam is doing fine (thanks for asking) and the ring is holding up quite well. THANK YOU!!

Mot ;)

Nothing to exciting to write home about, But I was removing the factory rack along with inner rib's and noticed that they would make a great addition to my Conferr rack...
Filling the holes from the old rack is going about as well as you might imagine, I need to do a bit more work to get it fully sealed, There was quite a bit of rust under the feet :o I plan on hippo lining the top one day when the 40 is done, I kinda sucks when a 80 series has more rust than a 35 year old 40 series.
Forgot...Its not a J/moose rack, But I bought it from the "J" part of it, What a guy :)
