Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster. Late last night I noticed part of a coil spring in my driveway. I figure it must have somehow broke off the bottom of the driver side when i was switched the wheels over for summer a couple days ago... I have no other explanation, i don't know wtf happened.
Either way, i don't like the idea of the one coil spring having an a couple inches missing from it, and i hate changing springs myself. I found another thread where a poster said he put preassembed KYB SR4130/31's on his GX and they bolted right on. They are from a 2007 4x4 FJ. I am just curious if anyone knows if these will change ride height at all? The vehicle only has 140 000km and was city driven, so i am half considering just replacing the springs, but i cannot find replacement springs anywhere (that are stock spec)!
