Hi guys, wondering if anyone has used Koni shocks for a 4" lift. The catalogue suggest they are only good for two inch lifts. Before you suggest a different shock, the reason I want koni is because Ive got a large voucher for them from a competition. And thought I had heard of similar lifts with Koni shocks.

Thanks for your help.

I use Koni " RAID " and KING SPRINGS, i strongly recomend this green webbing limiting Extension. To prevent damage the shocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time I have seen limiting straps on an 80. Why don't people with more common kits like Old Man Emu kits have to use these?

The only reason i can think of for using straps is to stop the coil falling off. But then there are alternatives like drop out cones.

But anyway im deciding on the Koni Raids
90-5389 620mm 368mm front
90-5390 609mm 384mm rear

as semlin points out in the other link, the slee 6" lift kit uses OME
N73L 667mm 387mm front
N74L 667mm 387mm rear

So this suggests that the konis could be used for a 4" lift.
Wondering if I could use the front shocks for the rear as well as the dimensions are better. The difference must be in the rebound and compression. Can anyone enlighten me.

Cheers
