Phil is competing in the LCQ this year. Quite a few of us are heading down to support him, especially should he qualify.
Cindy and I are planning to travel down Sunday, stay the week, and come home Saturday after the race.

The club will raffle will be Friday night at 7:30pm at Dion's trailer.
He'll be over by Phil. Best for everyone to trade cell numbers so you can meet up.

What an insane race. Wish they had more video of other areas on the course.
Yes, Roddy Gordon was in the race, but blow his motor in the first 25miles.
Phil from the Mog crew and South Shore Crawlers placed 21st in the LCQ, and put him in the middle of the pack for the main race on Friday. Great job considering a 22r toyota motor up against all those V8s.

Did Phil finish the race?
No, he broke a front axel and loss the locking ring on it. He had a space axel but the spare ring was back a camp. Figured he would not break that so there it sat. Other drivers did how ever drive over him.
