I'll be down there mid day on the 7th. We have to get the buggy tuned and pre-run a little bit. I'll have my 40 down there for a support rig/run to town rig/wheel a little rig.
so whats the deal with wheeling rigs on race day. Can you drive your personal wheeler to the different race loci to watch or do the personal (non support) rigs have to stay at the parking/camping spot?
Or can you drive smaller stuff around? (motorcycles, utv's, etc)?
And there isn't anything wrong with wheeling the hammers on thursday or saturday is there?
Who all is planning on bringing their rigs? Maybe we can get together for a night run or something.
I hate to say it, but I don't think it's worth taking a rig. The trails are going to look like the 405 on a Friday afternoon.
ill have mine plus KTM bike. my bro will have his crawler. im plannin on wheeling sat durring day and perhaps thurday. im up for a night run. i need to mount some lights
Your pretty much right about that. I am hoping that I can find somewhere to go at least one night....and that depends on how the buggy stays together and how much we are working on it too. The only reason I am taking my 40 is for a support rig, or I'd be driving my comfy Yukon!!
yea but there are muchas trails at the hammers. there must be some open wheelin oportunities. And even if there are lots of rigs on the trail there will at leaste be lots of carnage to behold....if you have transportation to get trailside. And i can get us trailside in my rockbus BUT i will have to dump you guys out once the trail gets hard cause i cant wheel too goodly with 1000lbs of excess manflesh in my lexus
jack and sledge have lots of easy exits until you get way deep into them. there are escapes.
